About me
I am a seasoned counselor with over a decade of experience. Drawing from my extensive experience in counseling since 2010 and my extensive tenure at Chicago Public Schools since 1995, I am eager to share insights, strategies, and best practices with my esteemed colleagues. Armed with dual master's degrees in Special Education and Counseling, I bring a unique perspective to the table, one that is rooted in both academic rigor and practical application. My comprehensive understanding of diverse learning needs coupled with my adept counseling techniques allow me to tailor interventions that address the specific needs of each student. My goal for this presentation is not only to impart knowledge but also inspire and empower fellow counselors to elevate their practice and better serve the diverse needs of our students. My dedication to professional development is evident in my ongoing pursuit of excellence. As I prepare for my second presentation for district counselors, I am fueled by both excitement and a deep sense of responsibility. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with my colleagues, exchange ideas, and ultimately, make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. It is a privilege to be part of this noble profession, and I am honored to contribute to its ongoing evolution and growth.
