NWEA data and learning walks show that in some classrooms, student growth is outpacing the national average. In the classrooms with above-average growth, the teachers have adopted student-led discussions, debates, and structured partner work. The high level of student engagement in those classes have led to the teachers/students completing more rigorous work at a higher level.
